SME Lending DOWN by £2.2bn In August
Lending to UK businesses fell by £2.2bn in August despite it being the first full month of the government's latest SME finance scheme - Funding for Lending.
The government has today confirmed that it will press ahead with plans to create a state-backed bank that could support up to £10bn of new and additional business lending
